Shaheen Foods Ltd
officially started in 1999, however, there were 4 years of extensive research
and testing before hand.
The business of producing convenience foods has become incredibly competitive
over recent years, but we have discovered something special which will give us
that extra edge, in the field of ethnic easy meals. Most other products of this
description, claim authenticity but do not actually achieve it, that is where we
have succeeded. Not only have we found a way for every one to be able to produce
a meal worthy of a maharaja, but it can be done in very little time and with
little effort.
Shaheen Balti Masala
was our first product, a long
time in the making but it was essential for us to achieve a truly authentic
result. This product was successfully launched in February1999.
We began by giving free samples and demonstrations in various Cash & Carries
throughout the North West. Through such advertising campaigns we soon began to provide to
wholesale merchants, retailers, importers and the general public.
In June 2000 we attended the Ethnic Food Exhibition at the NEC Birmingham, for
three days, and also the Olympia Catering show for three days in October. In
October 2001 we were present at the Anuga Fair in Germany for 5 days and most
recently we have attended an exhibition in Behrain for 5 days. The
response we have received, from distributors throughout the U.K and abroad, has
been extremely encouraging, with buyers in U.K, Ireland, Belgium, Germany, Spain
and Behrain and further interest from Canada and Singapore. There is great excitement about the
authenticity and diversity of our products, which makes our them so different from others on the market.
Shaheens Pilau Masala
was our second product Launched in
2000. Again the emphasis is on
authenticity and simplicity. This product has proved to be just as
successful, if not more so.
Shaheens Achar Masala &
Biryani Masala We are the
next products in the pipeline for this year, and there are so many more to come, if we
continue to receive such encouragement and support as we have been, they will not be long in the
making. |
